Focus de Luxe stylish chopsticks, 230 mm. 4 chopsticks and 2 coasters.
Gense proudly presents another part of the famous cutlery series
Focus de Luxe. The series was considered revolutionary when it
was launched in 1955, and even today, over 60 years later, its design
feels highly modern and current.
The new member of the family is stylish chopsticks, inspired by
Focus de Luxe's sleek and timeless lines and created by the design team
Studio Gense. The design is influenced by the Korean chopsticks
currently on the market and has been developed in consultation with
Korean experts.
The tip of the cutlery is made of matt polished stainless steel, with
carefully grooved surface, to make it easier to pick up the food. The shape
goes elegantly from square at the top to round at the tip.
Folke Arström designed Focus de Luxe for Gense back in 1955. Today, Focus de Luxe is a stylish retro classic, with a timeless and functional design. The cutlery has a modernist design from its time where the triangular knife blade, the rounded fork and the narrow spoon are perfect for all design enthusiasts with a penchant for retro stuff.
Focus de Luxe has been a collector's item for many years. It has been recognized by the "New York Times" as one of the "100 best designed products of modern times". The black handles, originally made of nylon, are now made of hard POM plastic.
